This athame is a heavy weight blade, created in the style of gothic, medieval metalwork. The handle is a simple black with five overlaid silver bands. The double sided blade is held within a matte black sheath with silver-toned tip. the whole piece is approximately. 11" in total length with a blade length of 5 1/4".

The athame's primary use is for ritual and magical purposes only, to direct energy; if things such as herbs or cords need to be cut, another knife called a boline - a white-handled knife - is used.
