These Brass artefacts are beautifully hand-made with a verdigris polished finish. Exotically ornate and weighty pieces, they contain around 2kg of solid brass in each piece.
The Nag Kanyas are snake goddesses and are also known as snake girls. Her Sanskrit name means “The Virgin” or “The Maiden of the Nagas”.
They are serpents who act as guardians and who secure the riches of the deep.
Made by Tibetan artisans, the Nag Kanas are worshipped as a symbol of sacrifice and purity by Indian and Rajasthanian Hindus.
