Simple and elegant in design, this small wind chime is perfect for hanging by windows, doorways, and altar spaces.
Glistening with the luster of brass, it displays an encircled Celtic Triquetra hanging from a slender chain, which serves to support three small brass bells that ring melodically with the slightest stirring of wind or movement.
The entire piece hangs only approximately 9" in length, with the triquetra measuring 2" in diameter.
Wind Chimes
Wind chimes are thought to be good luck in parts of Asia and are used in Feng Shui. In Japan they produce pleasant ringing sounds and are hung by the windows during hot humid summers in order to bring cooling relief. Buddhists especially made use of wind chimes and wind bells, attaching them profusely by the hundreds or even thousands to the eaves of temples, shrines, and pagodas.
Musical tones enhance a sense of well-being, expand your awareness and open your mind. The positive sounds of wind chimes promote relaxation and reduce anger and tension. Wind chimes can help bring balance and harmony to your garden and home. They allow us to expand our conscious awareness and connect with higher spirits. As wind chimes enhance the mind-body-spirit connection, they invoke a sense of peace and well being.
"Magickal wind chimes, now be for me, a charm for good luck and prosperity. As the chimes ring out a spell they'll weave, All dread and negativity must now leave..." Taken from Elements of Witchcraft by Ellen Duggan
